I also keep a notepad in my car, to pull over and jot down ideas when I have them.

I find I have my best ideas, though, either in the shower/bath – or riding on my bike outside. I’ve been thinking of getting a headset built into my helmet to record teleseminars while I’m riding around town.

I’ve been known to call my husband in “Honey, go and write down….” He’s learned (finally) to just do it and not ask questions. Hey, I can’t afford to let go of the idea, right? LOL.

What I find is I get the best ideas when I’m in the shower. I keep thinking I should hang a dry erase board in on the wall.

I like your suggestion of writing down an idea I’m stuck with and then letting it marinate. Usually I file everything in my head and try to get my brain to digest it all. I’ll have to download some of that stuff onto paper and try your experiment. Wish me luck!
