There is no doubt working from home can be a juggling act time wise. Being organized and disciplined is something one has to do or else you feel like you are spinning your wheels. Heck, I don’t have a child at home anymore and I find myself being caught up in other people’s stuff.

My daughter is all grown up but still living at home. There are still distractions due to “mommy duties” like driving her to college and crises that come up. Thanks for your contribution to The Work at Home Family Carnival.

@ Sally, I used to be like that, but six weeks of summer holidays… I couldn’t not work during the day for that long. Mind you, I had the kidlet home sick today and I STILL went to a networking luncheon! She’s old enough to be home alone and she wasn’t desperately ill. Plus I kept my phone turned on.

I can really relate to what you are saying. On the days I have the boys at home I don’t even try to get anything done during the day – any work gets done at night.
