I loved his attitude toward allowance and fostering entrepreneurship in his own kids. I'm going to try this with my own kids. Just that skill of looking around to find things that other people might want to pay for is so important. @ Megan, you know you don’t actually have to wait for Lent to give up guilt? LOL. I’m another who struggled all through school and ended up dropping out. I’ve gotten all my education as an adult, and I’ve been motivated to learn because I chose those courses and I see the purpose in them.

Look at how many of the worlds big names have ADD/ADHD etc – Richard Branson, Thomas Eddison, Van Gogh, Eleanor Roosevelt, Alfred Hitchock, Bill Gates, Steven Spielberg, Henry Ford…..

Ooo what a good Lenten abstention, Mel! I think I might try giving up guilt next year. What a compelling video. Man, my heart hurts for the years of misunderstanding he had to endure from his teachers. Giftedness is often coupled with learning disorders or learning weaknesses in other areas. So many brilliant minds are convinced that they are stupid because of arbitrary and ridiculous standardized tests.
