@ Keisha, I’m so sorry, your comment slipped under the radar and I didn’t reply to it. Oops!

I love your question “If stripped of my blog what is my business?” that’s a brilliant question and one I’ll probably use (and credit you!) in the Blogging Workshop.

@ Scentsy, hehehe, I love this cartoon, it’s on my office wall now. I can’t work in bed or in my PJ’s, it just doesn’t feel comfortable to me. I seem to live in sweats or jeans though, so only a step up from jammies!

What a great cartoon and oh how true. I love working at home and wouldn’t trade it for the world, but it doesn’t come without challenges, like the one’s in this cartoon. Although, I do go stir crazy at times, it is nice to have solitude and work in my pajamas or even my bed if I prefer.

I agree that starting with at least one blog business model (aka a way to sell something) is a solid foundation for business bloggers.

Even if you don’t know all the intricate details, you’re more purposeful when you know “this is how I make money” and can purposely publish your posts toward that goal.

The way I stay on track is to keep asking myself if stripped of my blog, what is my business? This snaps me back into reality every time.
